Heroes

If l was asked to name heroes I have worked with and affected by in this long, endless, deadly battle, while fighting death and diseases, I would put Youssef at the top of the list! Youssef was still a fifth-year medical student at the beginning of this, and came to volunteer at the emergency department, and started working with us in the same team, with all his passion, day and night, to sacrifice everything to serve the sick and wounded among our people, with all of his energy! Now, he is taking lectures of the sixth year, at the hospital, studying and increasing his knowledge, and at the same time building experience and taking it upon himself to help everyone alleviate their pain and suffering. There are many others like Youssef in all departments, and in all hospitals, real heroes, still medical students, but they are much stronger, braver and smarter than any medical student anywhere else. They deserve the world to raise its hat for them, and all respect!

By the way, now they are forcefully threatening medical staff to evacuate all hospitals in the north, to completely put the health system out of service, after they destroyed most of the hospitals and health centers, to completely ethnicaly cleanse the north, and the world is watching, as if it's a movie!

Al-Aqsa Hospital, where I work, has been repeatedly bombed, and the last time was two days ago. The funny and sad thing about this today, is when my friend who lives in a tent next to the hospital called me to see me, and said that he wanted us to meet outside the hospital because he feared that we would be bombed inside the hospital. Is that funny or sad to you?
