I am recognised tonight
Free me, before this cage of fear and death destroys everything I love.
If you wish to help protect my family, please visit the link in my bio. Thank you.
I am recognized tonight. How joyful life is now! if recognition could actually keep me alive
Thank you for the recognitíon. Thank you for the solidarity, and for truly feeling with us.
On paper, I'm someone who deserves peace, and justice, but in reality, Israel is still killing me.
Last night, my mother admitted her deepest fear: that I could be targeted just for speaking out. "They'd kill all of us for that, don't you think?" she said.
I laughed to ease her worry, but inside, I carry that same fear every day. I live with it constantly, anxious, unsettled, knowing she may be right.
If the world's recognition and solidarity mean anything, let it be more than words. Let it be the shield that saves my family, and the countlI amess families who are still being hunted down, even as I write this
