Swimming

My friend Aboud and I decided to go swimming today, before the upcoming Apocalypse. The waves were high, but we managed to overcome the high waves and settle somewhere, in our sea, and there we were able to talk about the many hardships of life that we have forced to face and how we have endured a lot and that we do not feel great pleasure in swimming today as we used to because we are tired, physically and mentally.

The last time we swam together was one day before the genocide and it was a wonderful day. We said why wouldn't this time be in a day before the end of the genocide, maybe.

My thoughts were with the wounded and the detainees of my people, and the ones who are struggling more than me, to give me strength and power!

I could see the area where the occupation forces are located, and the drones above me, but I didn't pay attention to them, and I went to contemplate my sky and my sea and Il felt it's all mine, it was mine, and it's still mine, and it’ll always be mine, my Palestine!
