They have lied to you!
This can't go on forever, because like this, we won't survive long enough to see "forever" Do everything in your power to help us get our lives back, kindly asking!
This is what a "ceasefire" looks like in my homeland. Nothing but motherfucking grief, rage, and anger burning in every one of our hearts.
They just turned a martyr's funeral into another | massacre, leaving seven more people to be buried.
Where the fuck is the ceasefire? Where the motherfucking peace council while this keeps happening?
Here, we fear the consequences ourselves, because we know they won't stop more massacres from happening.
If this happened anywhere else in the world, there would be consequences.
I thought days like today were behind us. I thought they were gone forever.
How can a people heal from trauma that never ends? We have been reduced to miserable survivors, and eventhat kind of survival is never guaranteed.
I never imagined days like today would become our daily reality again, this endless, bloody brutality. We are supposedly living under a "ceasefire" on paper, yet people are stil being massacred every single day with impunity.
Today felt even more horrific than the worst days of this genocide, because one massacre followed another People were literally massacred while carrying the body of a loved one they had aready lost.
The number of families grieving tonight is a devastating reminder of how urgently and desperately my people need help.
This is not a story. These are our lives, and our families' lives, that have been at stake sincethe day we were born.
For God's sake, are we really supposed to give up on every chance to make this stop? Because that's how every last one of us has been feeling.
They have lied to you.
While was doing everything l could to build new desks for a school in my camp, where children have been forced to sit on the ground to learn, and provide new tents for families living under plastic sheets with nothing to protect them, the occupation continued destroying more schools and more homes.
I feel compelled to share this because I need your help to keep this work going. l urgently need your support to continue providing for families in my camp. Throughout all of this, we have been able to help so many people, and l can't bring myself to stop now, even when the hopelessness feels overwhelming. Please donate to the Warm Hearts Nuseirat campaign in my bio. Our next goal is to provide more families with tents and flashlights, small things that can make an enormous difference in the lives of people who have already lost almost everything. Please, this is urgent.
Together, we have accomplished what the United Nations has not been able to do for hundreds of students.
Together we have helped thousands of families survive by providing their most basic needs over the past few months. Let's keep going.
These children have paid the heaviest price for the greed of those who chose to keep multiplying their wealth while others lost everything.
