In one way or another, you are saving us

Winter is the season I love the most, but I couldn't enjoy the rain for three years.

Today was meaningful, and beautiful; a warm day, for more than 240 children.

I thought that even a small act of care; especially for children and their families, might make a difference on these cold nights.

I'm deeply grateful to every kind soul. My soul embraces yours. Because of you, I've been able to support my own family, and so many others; strangers and relatives alike. Everyone has lost something, and you were there, trusting my calls for help, for them, for their families.

Together, you, they, and I; we did good.

This is what civilization truly means: to never stop giving, to help your community survive, to stand by vulnerable parents trying to feed their children, to keep them warm.

Thank you, from my heart.

In one way or another, you are saving us.
