Sos!
My name is Ali. I am a human. I’m a doctor from Gaza.
I’ve seen more death than any human being should ever have to see. Every day, We've tried to save lives; for what feels like an eternity. But now…I say this with complete honesty and a heavy heart: there’s nothing left we can do.Again, I am human. And I’m pleading, just to be heard.
Please…Help us!
It keeps getting worse; worse than the darkest days I’ve ever known. Now I see the wounded from massacres, and the starving who risked everything for a bit of aid, bleeding on the ground. Some of them die, because we no longer have what we need to save them all.
This young woman arrived after a missile strike hit her home. Her husband lay unconscious in the next bed, severely injured.
While examining her, I discovered she was suffering from internal abdominal bleeding . Then I found out she was four months pregnant.
For hours, we couldn’t get her a CT scan; even though it was dangerous for both her and the baby. Coordinating surgery was nearly impossible, the surgical team was already overwhelmed. I watched the bleeding in her abdomen worsen. She was losing so much blood that her fetus could die at any moment, as if the blood meant to nourish her baby was now choking it instead. And I was completely helpless to stop it.
The so-called ‘civilized’ First World is destroying the so-called “primitive” Third World. And the innocent, those who only wish to live in peace, are the ones paying the price.
It feels like we are trapped in an endless horror series, where the nightmare never stops, and each episode brings a new form of suffering and agony.
Children and civilians are slaughtered in every painful way imaginable, just so the powerful can grow more violent, more unrestrained.
There is no one who can unveil this truth but Allah. How I long for Allah to put an end to this cruelty and injustice, for Him to say, Enough..
